The Hot Toddy is a classic drink that is perfect for these frigid winter days when you need a hot drink to warm you up. It’s also good to fight off cold or flu symptoms with the Vitamin C and honey that you’ll most likely find in any recipe. Traditionally, Hot Toddy’s are made with some type of alcohol (usually whiskey or bourbon) and water with spices and honey or sugar.
Today is National Hot Toddy Day and in celebration I’m going to share a recipe that I’ve found courtesy of Ole Smoky Moonshine.
- 1-2oz Ole Smoky Apple Pie
- 1 Lemon Wedge
- 2 tsp Honey
- 6-7 oz Celestial gingerbread spice tea
- Mix ingredients except lemon while warm.
- Garnish with lemon.
Ole Smoky’s Apple Pie Moonshine is made with the finest ingredients using their traditional moonshine recipe with pure apple juice and spices added for a great flavor. You can find more delicious recipes from Ole Smoky at www.olesmoky.com.
